Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on exempting the quote for support, maintenance, and licenses in the amount of $7,350.00 from Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc. (ESRI) from competitive bidding as per 262.024 (a)(7)(D) [Captive Replacement Parts or Components for Equipment] of the Texas Local Government Code and authorize the execution of the quote.
Background
Williamson County Commissioners Court on 11/19/2019, Agenda Item 28, exempted ESRI as a sole source which is valid until 11.18.2022. ESRI provides Global Information System (GIS) Mapping Systems and Location Intelligence Data. This quote is for the annual support, maintenance, and licensing portion which is proprietary to ESRI and therefore this company is only provider for maintenance and support. IT, legal, contract audit, and budget have reviewed this purchase. Point of contact is George Strebel. This expenditure will be charged to 01.0100.0503.004505.
