Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving the purchase of (15) replacement vehicles and one (1) new vehicle for the Williamson County Sheriff's Office and Jail from Silsbee Ford, Lake Country Chevrolet, abd Holiday Chevrolet in the total amount of $672,061.48 through cooperative Contract GoodBuy 21 8F000, Texas Smart Buy 070-A1 (Vehicle) and Tarrant County 2019-181 (Upfitting).
Background
Approval of this item will support the operations of the Williamson County Sheriff's Office and Jail. Attached is a award schedule outlining the various vehicles to be purchased from each vendor, units to be replaced, co-operative contract to be utilized and dollar amount. Quotes for each purchase are also attached. Fleet and budget have reviewed this purchase and verified replacements. Sheriff's Office vehicles will be charged to FY22 01.0100.2004.005700. Sheriff's Office Jail vehicles will be charged to FY22 01.0100.0570.005700. Department contacts are Chief Erickson and Commander Christopher Watts.
