Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving the agreement between Williamson County and GTS Technology Solutions for the bulk purchase of thirty-eight (38) approved and budgeted toughbooks and equipment for a total not to exceed $162,168.06, pursuant to the DIR contract #DIR-TSO-4025, and authorizing the execution of the agreement.
Background
This budgeted bulk purchase of thirty-eight (38) toughbooks and equipment (rugged mobile computers) will benefit Williamson County with better prices and discounts for savings when ordered in this manner. The attached quote has the detailed information regarding what equipment is being purchased. The cost of $162,168.06 is the purchase amount. Legal and Contract Audit have reviewed this agreement. IT has approved this agreement. There are 7 line item expenditures used for this purchase from various departments as approved in the FY22 budget. The department point of contact is Richard Semple.
