Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on awarding RFP #21RFP4, for Jail Food Service to the overall best respondent, Aramark Correctional Services, LLC. and authorizing the execution of the agreement.
Background
Approval of this item will support the operations of the Williamson County Jail. Twelve (12) vendors viewed the solicitation documents and two (2) proposals were submitted. The evaluation committee reviewed both proposals and interviewed both vendors. After vendor interviews a best and final offer was requested from Aramark. The evaluation committee recommends that Aramark Correctional Services be awarded the Jail Food Service contract for Williamson County. Contract has an initial term of thirty-four (34) months ending on September 30th, 2024 with two (2) optional twelve (12) month renewals. Legal, contract audit and budget have reviewed this purchase. This expenditure will be charged to FY22 01.0100.0570.003306. Department contacts are Kathleen Pokluda and Kurt Showalter.
