Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving a one-year Fiscal Impact Data Subscription to LOCI Software from Economic Impact Group for $3,000.00 per year to support the efforts of Cogitare Global LLC.
Background
This data subscription will benefit Cogitare Global, whose economic development consulting contract was approved by the Court on 11/9/21, Agenda Item #27963. LOCI software provides insight into tax structures, infrastructure expansion, regional impacts, and revenue analysis for economic development opportunities being considered by the County. A Tier Four license for $3,000.00 is required due to the population of the County. This expense is in additional to the professional service fees and will be invoiced to the County as a reimbursement by Cogitare Global. Department Contact: Commissioner Russ Boles. Currently unbudgeted, the Budget Office's potential funding recommendation is 01.0100.0494.004100 for Professional Services that could be utilized for this subscription with Commissioners Court approval.
