Discuss, consider and take appropriate action to approve a First Amended Resolution regarding the redistricting of Williamson County Political Boundaries, including, but not limited to the acceptance of new political boundaries for the Williamson County Election, Justices of the Peace, Constables and Commissioners Court Precincts.
Background
This First Amendment changes the effective date for the new precincts that resulted from Williamson County’s redistricting. The original resolution stated an effective date of January 1, 2023 for the new precincts when such date should have been January 1, 2022. All other portions of the original resolution remain and are not being amended.
