Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving the Termination for Elections Asset Tracking Software with Tenex Software Solutions, Inc., and authorizing the execution of the notice.
Background
Approval of this item will terminate the existing contract the county has with Tenex Software Solutions, Inc. for an asset tracking system approved by commissioner's court on 06/29/2021. Despite near weekly implementation calls Tenex was unable to provide a usable version of the system to the Elections Department. As more than six months have now passed, the Elections Office would like to move forward with the termination of this agreement, as they are not confident Tenex will be able to deliver on a usable system in the foreseeable future.
