Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on authorizing the execution of Contract Amendment No. 1 of the contract between Williamson County and Alario Knowles, LLC DBA Cedar Rock Railroad.
Background
Contract Amendment No 1: (1) reflects a revised train track alignment, (2) reduces number of train track crossings, (3) will reduce user conflicts as new train track alignment will no longer bisect soccer and cricket fields, and (4) will provide a more scenic route for train riders. The original contract was approved on December 21, 2021. This has been reviewed and coordinated with Purchasing, Contract Audit and Legal.
