Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on authorizing the Purchasing Agent to advertise and receive sealed proposals for Broker of Record for Risk Coverage, under RFP #22RFP79.

The County has multiple lines of insurance/reinsurance coverages as part of the property and casualty program which include the following: Property, General Liability, Excess Liability, Auto Liability, Public Officials Liability, Errors and Omission, Employee Benefits Liability, Law Enforcement Liability, Crime, Worker’s Compensation and Employer’s Liability, Medical Professional Liability, Pollution, Aviation and Cyber Risk. The Risk Management Department is responsible for administering the program for the County. Williamson County is seeking a Broker of Record to provide services to include but not limited to Liaison between County and Insurance Carriers, Insurance placement, Insurance program development, administration, issuance of insurance documents, advising of new policy needs, market research etc. Funding Source: 01.0100.0409.004100.  Department point of contact is Malea Schmitt.
