Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on the issuance of a countywide burn ban for a period to be set by the Commissioners Court; and to authorize the County Judge the authority to lift the order banning outdoor burning if conditions improve.
Background
A Disaster Declaration prohibiting outdoor burning was issued by Judge Gravell on March 25, 2022 and therafter extended by the Commissioners Court. This Burn Ban Order will terminate and supplant the Disaster Declaration prohibiting outdoor burning.
