Discuss, consider and take appropriate action to ratify and approve ongoing equipment lease with Safeware with term through Nov 1, 2023, in the amount of $378,457.58, via U.S. Communities Co-op Contract #4400008468 to support operations of the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office and record same into the minutes.
Background
This equipment lease for the Sheriff's Office with Safeware started in 2019 for Stalker Radar equipment. The previous administration did not go through the Purchasing Department for the lease. Term to run Nov 1, 2019 thru Nov 1, 2023. Legal advised on this agenda item. Budget has reviewed this item. This expenditure is charged to 01.0100.2004.004623. Point of contact is Chief Pat Erickson.
