Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving a three (3) year agreement with Gartner, Inc. for management consulting services to include Gartner Access for Technical Professionals and IT Leaders in the total amount of $303,806.00, pursuant to DIR contract #DIR-TSO-4099, and authorizing execution of the agreement.
Background
Approval of this item will support the operations of the Williamson County Information Technology Systems Department. Gartner provides research, expert advice, contract reviews, best practices, and industry insights through their website, one-on-one sessions, articles, and conferences. They are industry experts in IT and are vendor neutral when assisting in evaluating solutions. Agreement is attached that includes links to view more information about each type of access listed. This is a three-year agreement with payments of $98,290.00 for year one, $101,239.00 for year two and $104,277.00 for year three, to be invoiced annually for each year. IT, Legal, Contract Audit and Budget have approved this. This multi-year agreement results in a savings of $36,000.00 overall. This expenditure will be charged to 01.0100.0503.004100 FY23.
