Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving letter agreement between Williamson County and the Riverside County Transportation Commission for cooperative purchasing of Questica Ltd. budgeting software and authorize execution of the agreement by the County Judge.

Approval of this item will support the operations of the Williamson County Budget Office.  The Riverside County Transportation Commission (RCTC) completed a solicitation for budgeting software and contracted with Questica, Ltd.  Their solicitation process and letter of agreement were reviewed by Purchasing, Legal and Contract Audit for compliance.  The Riverside County Transportation Commission provided a letter of agreement to allow Williamson County to participate in cooperative purchasing by piggybacking off of their contract with Questica, Ltd. for budget software.  This cooperative purchasing agreement yields significant price savings for this software, including lower costs compared to DIR pricing over the same subscription term.
