Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving the Agreement between Thomson Reuters and/or West Publishing and Williamson County for a Westlaw Proflex Subscription pursuant to DIR Contract #DIR-LGL-CALIR-02. The term of this agreement is thirty-six (36) months, with a 1% increase in year two and year three. The monthly charges are as such: Year One-$4,987.75; Year Two-$5,037.63; and Year Three-$5,088.01.
Background
The approval of this item will benefit the operations of the Williamson County Attorney office by providing access for their attorneys and support staff to case law and other research tools. The attached agreement contains more detailed information regarding the subscription. Legal. Contract Audit, Budget, and Information Systems have approved. This agreement will start October, 1, 2022. This has been budgeted for FY23. The Department point of contact is Stephanie Lloyd. The line item expenditure being charged is 01.0100.0475.004210.
