Discuss, consider and take appropriate action to correct the minutes for Item No. 41 of the Regular Session of the Williamson County Commissioners Court on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 to reflect the motion as it was read aloud and adopted by a record vote, which was as follows: To include a record vote and adopt a Tax Rate of $0.375608, which is effectively a 10.06% increase in the Tax Rate; being comprised of the following rates: a Maintenance and Operations Fund Tax Rate of 20.4216 cents per $100.00 of valuation; a Debt Service Fund Tax Rate of 13.39 cents per $100.00 of valuation; and a Road and Bridge Fund Tax Rate of 3.7492 cents per $100.00 of valuation.
Background
The motion was read using rates in cents as opposed to rates in dollars (“20.4216 cents per $100.00” instead of “$0.204216 per $100.00”) for the three separate rates that make up the total tax rate. The total tax rate was read using a rate in dollars ($0.375608). This item will correct the minutes to reflect the actual motion as read and adopted.
