Discuss, consider and take appropriate action regarding approval and receipt of the Standard Agreement with Parkside on the River Municipal Utility District #1 for off duty contracting of County Sheriff Deputies to be effective October 1, 2022.
Background
This is a new agreement for Parkside on the River MUD #1. We currently have a contract with Parkside at Mayfield Ranch that will be renewed on October 1, 2022.
This new agreement will give permission for Parkside on the River to contract County Sheriff Deputies in a private capacity and the County to invoice that MUD for deputies' vehicle usage. The term of this agreement shall begin on October 1, 2022 and will have two additional one year automatic renewals on October 1, 2023 and October 1, 2024. The agreement will be revisited with proper approvals from the Commissioners Court for October 1, 2025 (FY'26).
