Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding Change Order No. 6 in the amount of $24,159.20 for Project 22IFB39 CR 111 Westinghouse Rd. (Capital Excavation) P292 Funding Source: Road Bond.

Background

This Change Order provides payment to the Contractor for plugging and abandoning four (4) water wells by a licensed well company. The water wells were encountered during the clearing of the ROW and were not included in the original project bid package. Upon completion of the plugging, the well company will submit the plugging reports for each well. 

The following new items will be added by this Change Order.

This Change Order results in a net increase of $24,159.20 to the Contract amount, for an adjusted Contract total of $21,805,119.18. The original Contract amount was $21,024,332.88. As a result of this and all Change Orders to-date, $780,786.30 has been added to the Contract, resulting in a 3.71% net increase in the overall Contract cost. As a result of this Change Order, (0) days will be added to the contract.
