Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding Change Order No. 4 in the amount of $89,204.91 for Project T5045 CR 404 Hutto Water Line Realignment (Austin Underground, Inc.) P 390 Funding Source: Road Bond.

This Change Order adds an item for track monitoring and flagging operations at the Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) at CR 401 and CR 402. Track monitoring and flagging are required by Union Pacific and must be provided by the Contractor performing the work on or near the railroad easement.

A new UPRR Monitoring and Flagging bid item will be added to the Contract to allow for payment.

This Change Order results in a net increase of $89,204.91 to the Contract amount, for an adjusted Contract total of $3,427,311.16. The original Contract amount was $2,897,639.00. As a result of this and all Change Orders to-date, $529,672.16 has been added to the Contract, resulting in an 18.28% net increase in the overall Contract cost.
