Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving Contract #202376 between Williamson County and CDW-G for a vendor-neutral advisory workshop, and authorizing the execution of the agreement.  This Statement of Work is subject to the terms and conditions of Omnia contract R210401.

This is a program where CDW-G consultants evaluate Williamson County's network and lets the County know what is best practice and what may needs to be changed. Along with this evaluation, CDW-G evaluates three vendors that have Software Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) equipment that would work in Williamson County's environment. Once CDW-G is done with the evaluation, they will deliver a write-up of the evaluation, present it to County representatives with recommendations, and the County can choose the best course of action. This program is funded through CDW-G at no cost to Williamson County.

The purpose of this project is to provide a vendor-neutral advisory workshop for the Customer to review if a SD-WAN solution meets Customer’s business and technical needs as well as determine Customer’s readiness to deploy. Seller will then provide a high-level report outlining how up to three manufacturers would or would not meet customer’s business and technical objectives. There are no fees.
