Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving the purchase of body armor vests and accessories in the amount of $58,314.00 from GT Distributors pursuant to BuyBoard Contract #603-20 and authorizing the purchase.
Background
Approval of this item will support the operations of the Williamson County Emergency Services Department. Requisition #130708 was submitted for the purchase of sixty (60) Traditional Modular Webbings, one hundred and twenty (120) Protech DT206C Level III body vests, sixty (60) tourniquet pouches, one hundred and twenty (120) blank patch black borders, one hundred and twenty (120) black hard Velcro to back patches, sixty (60) WILCO EMS Dept patches plus costs for the alterations by the GT seamstress with a total amount of $58,314.00. The attached quote shows the itemized pricing for this order and the coop has confirmed this is in accordance with the vendor’s BuyBoard contract#603-20. Funding source is 01.0100.0540.003311.
