Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on authorizing the approval of Amendment #4 for Stop Loss Insurance with the provider United Healthcare Insurance Company for the term of January 1, 2023 through December 31, 2023, which incorporates the plan changes, designs, plan rates, revenue and expenses that were approved by the Williamson County Benefits Committee and authorizing the execution of the amendment.
Background
This is Stop Loss Insurance Amendment #4 for United Healthcare Insurance Company (UHC) that supports the employee benefit funding strategy. This coverage was solicited through RFP #22RFP73 Third Party Administrator for Medical, Dental, and Vision Programs. UHC was the high scorer in that solicitation and is being recommended for award on 12/20/22. This subsequent Amendment #4 is a result of that recommendation. Budgeted amount is $1,674,115.00. Funds are budgeted in FY23 under Stop Loss Insurance, 01.0885.0885.004057. The department point of contact is Shelley Loughrey.
