Background
Williamson County sent out two hundred and twenty-nine (229) notifications with fifteen (15) document takers with one (1) submitting firm. The bid has been reviewed and the only bidder, Ergon Asphalt & Emulsions, Inc. was found to be responsive and materially balanced. In addition to meeting the bid qualifications subject to being low bidder this vendor has successfully performed similar work on other projects. It is recommended to award the Asphalt Cement IFB #23IFB19 contract to Ergon Asphalt & Emulsions, Inc. The contract term is one (1) year with two (2) one-year renewal options.
