Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on closing out and not awarding RFP #22RFP111, Armored Courier Services, due to no responses received.
Background
The RFP #22RFP111 for Armored Courier Services was issued June 7, 2022. The public notice of accepting proposals was advertised in the Williamson County Sun on June 12, 2022, and June 19, 2022. Requests for proposals were electronically sent to one hundred twenty-three (123) vendors via the County's Bonfire bidding portal. Proposal submissions were due July 28, 2022, at 4:00 PM. There were no submissions received. Due to the difficulty of receiving proposal submittals for many years each time this solicitation was issued, the decision was made by the evaluation committee to find an in-house solution to cover this service.
