Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving a six (6) month contract extension with Accelerated Card Company, LLC dba/Certified Payments in order to allow additional time to complete the RFP process.
Background
Per County Treasurer's request, an additional six-month extension has been requested to allow additional time to complete the award on new solicitation #22RFP150 for these services. This extension will expire September 30, 2023. The first (1) extension term expired as of September 30, 2022, and the second (2) extension term will expire on December 31, 2022, and the third (3) expired March 30, 2023. There is no expenditure to the county. All merchant service fees are paid by the customers making the payments. Department point of contact is Scott Heselmeyer.
