Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving ratification of agreement #2023158 between Williamson County and Tetra Tech, Inc. for emergency debris monitoring due to winter storm Mara damage with a not-to-exceed amount of $1,064,432.10 and exempting from the competitive bid/proposal requirements pursuant to the discretionary exemption as set forth under Texas Local Government Code § 262.024 (a)(2) [an item necessary to preserve and protect the public health or safety or the residents of the county].
Background
This Emergency Services Agreement is set to expire sixty (60) days from the Notice To Proceed. The agreement has been signed by the Judge due to immediate need to start the process of addressing debris caused by winter storm Mara which may include, but not limited to, emergency field debris monitoring services, related management, and accounting services. Legal and Budget have reviewed. Funding Source is 01.0100.0409.004987. Department point of contact: Terron Evertson
