Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving and ratifying the Emergency Contract between Williamson County and Genserve LLC dba LJ Power Generators for the purchase of and installation of a 100kW generator for Prime Tower in the not-to-exceed amount of $97,718.00, and exempting the service from the competitive bidding requirements as per Section 262.024 (a)(3) [an item necessary because of unforeseen damage to public property] and authorizing the execution of the agreement.

Background

Purchase Order #183134 was issued for this emergency purchase of a replacement generator.  Damage to the existing generator was caused by winter storm Mara.  The contract for the emergency replacement includes removal of the current generator and installation of a 100kW generator at the site.  Prime Tower is located at 1050 Rabbit Hill Road Georgetown, 78626.  Funding Source is 01.0507.0507.004987 as per FY23 budget.  Department point of contact is Thomas Piche.
