Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving the purchase of TAB Fusion annual maintenance #2023188 in the amount of $7,728.70 and exempting the purchase from the competitive bidding requirements for said service established by TLGC §262.024 Discretionary Exemptions (a)(7) [an item that can be obtained from only one source, including (D) Captive Replacement Parts or Components for Equipment].

Background

Approval of this item will support IT Department operations.  The TAB Fusion Records Management System (RMS) manages the complete lifecycle of both physical and digital records and documents to help easily find, share and manage information from creation through disposition while enforcing records management governance.  The software has been used since 2016.  This annual maintenance covers a period of 4/1/2023-3/31/2024.  IT, legal, contract audit and budget have reviewed this purchase.  Funding Source is 01.0390.0390.004505 as per FY23 budget.  Department point of contact is Richard Semple.
