Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving the Service Contract #2023191 between Williamson County and TESSCO, Inc. for the amount of $165,013.55, and exempting from the competitive bidding process requirements pursuant to the discretionary exemption as set forth under Texas Local Government Code 262.024(a)(3) [an item necessary because of unforeseen damage to public property] and authorizing the execution of the contract.
Background
The Williamson County communications tower equipment has sustained additional damages from Storm Mara that was not detected until the climbers were able to climb the towers a conduct a more thorough assessment. This quote is for equipment and replacement parts only. Legal, Contract Audit, IT, Budget and Risk Management have reviewed this quote. The budget line is 01.0507.0507.004987 FY23. The point of contract is Thomas Piche.
