Inc. in the amount of $181,140.00 pursuant to Buyboard Contract #703-23 and authorizing the execution of the contract.
Background
The Road and Bridge Department submitted requisition #132244 along with a quote for a Portable Traffic Signal System that includes a Motion Detector, Left Turn Arrow Package, Preemption System, and Freight. The Portable Traffic Signal System is needed to assist with traffic and parking control during weather and other unforeseen emergencies. The department has previously rented signals in the past for these situations, and it has been determined that purchasing the lights will be more efficient and cost-effective in the long term.
