Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving an addendum to the agreement between Williamson County and Indigent Healthcare Solutions, LTD and authorizing the execution of the addendum.
Background
This amendment will allow for a Provider Pipeline for the Inmate Medical Bills. The Medical Providers for the Inmate Medical Bills will be able to access the system to confirm payment and amounts. The cost will begin in September 2023 for this addendum. This same amendment exists on the Indigent Healthcare (Wilco Care) agreement as well. It is helpful for the providers to be able to log in and see exactly which patients they are being paid for and the amounts that were paid. This will streamline the process for Jail staff and Accounts Payable staff. The cost per month is $300 and is budgeted in line item 01.0100.0570.004208. Department Point of Contact is Julie Kiley.
