Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on awarding RFP #23RFP74 Chiller Replacement for Williamson County to Jay Harkins Company, Inc in the not-to-exceed amount of $245,287.00 and authorize execution of the agreement.

Background

Williamson County sent out over 2,400 notifications with six (6) firms submitting responses. Two vendors were not considered as they submitted incorrect bid tabulation sheets. This RFP was issued seeking qualified contractors to provide everything required for the replacement of the one (1) existing 150-ton Air Cooled Chiller, located at Williamson County Sheriff Office, 508 Rock Street, Georgetown, TX. The evaluation team evaluated, scored, and negotiated the responses. The highest ranked vendor through evaluations and negotiations is Jay Harkins Company Inc and is recommended for award. Funding Source is 01.0100.0509.004509 and the point of contacts are Shantil Moore or Christi Stromberg.
