Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action approving the Williamson County Safety Policy in preparation for launching the County’s self-funded Workers' Compensation Program.

As a kick-off to the start of the County's self-funded Workers' Compensation Program, this Safety Policy broadly highlights the County's commitment to workplace safety and provides guidance to both supervisors and employees on how they can make Williamson County a safe, healthy, and productive work environment.  As a self-funded program, the County will have greater opportunity to control the costs of workplace injuries by focusing on the protection of the County's most valuable asset - its workforce.
