Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on an order declaring an emergency and a grave necessity due to unforeseeable circumstances and approve a budget amendment to acknowledge additional revenues for General Fund.
Background
The budget amendment recognizes a portion of the FY2022 State Criminal Alien Assistance Program (SCAAP) proceeds received. This budget amendment will offset the Justice Benefits, Inc. invoice for services on the completion of the FY2021 and FY2022 SCAAP report.Claims are always filed in subsequent year following our fiscal year. When we receive these claims, JBI invoice is paid on the related fiscal year report.
