Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on an order declaring an emergency and a grave necessity due to unforeseeable circumstances and approve a budget amendment to acknowledge additional expenditures for Non-Departmental.

The billing for the State Criminal Alien Assistance Program (SCAAP) was delayed for FY2021.  Williamson County typically receives one bill per year and budgets accordingly.  We have received two invoices in one year, thus creating a shortfall in this line.  This budget amendment will facilitate payment of two years worth of SCAAP claims. Claims are always filed in subsequent year following our fiscal year. When we receive these claims, JBI invoice is paid on the related fiscal year report.
