Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on Consent to Contract Assignment between Williamson County, Austin White Lime Company, Ltd. (the Assignor), and Lhoist North American, Inc. (the Assignee) in relation to IFB #22IFB144 Hydrated Lime Slurry, awarded on October 25, 2022 and authorizing the execution of the Consent to Assignment.

Robinson Family Management, owner of Austin White Lime Company (“AWL”), has made the strategic decision to shift its focus from the commercial side of its lime business and expand upon other business interests. To effect this strategic shift and provide for continued security of supply to its customers, AWL has entered into an agreement with Lhoist North America (“LNA”) whereby LNA will assume AWL’s existing customer base effective 9/1/2023. AWL will continue to produce lime for resale by LNA, with all customer commercial aspects being handled directly by LNA. Department Point of Contact is Terron Evertson.
