Background
During the FY24 budget process, the court approved a set aside of $74,308 to cover any grant funding not received for Judge Barker's Specialty Courts. Williamson County was recently notified that the Bureau of Justice Assistance Grant used for the DUI Court/Program will not be renewed leaving 50% of an annual salary unfunded. This transfer will cover the salary and fringe needed for this position (50%) through September 30th, 2024.
