Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on a Letter Agreement and Above Ground Facilities Easement by and between Williamson County, Texas and Atmos Energy Corporation relating to the termination and relocation of an existing 60-foot gas line easement in relation to the Williamson County Headquarters Project.
Background
It has become necessary to enter into an agreement and easement with Atoms Energy Corporation whereby Atmos will terminate and vacate its existing 60 Foot Gas Easement (current location of Gas Line L20) that traverses the property in the location the county intends to construct the Williamson County Headquarters Project. County and Atmos have agreed that County will, through an Aboveground Facilities Easement, grant to Atmos a new 50 foot by 50 foot aboveground station to be situated on the county’s property in exchange for Atmos’ relocation and termination of the existing easement location where Line L20 is currently located in the 60 Foot Gas Easement.
