Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving the purchase of a Multi-Year Equipment Calibration and Maintenance Program contract #202500 with FarrWest Environmental Supply, Inc. for the annual amount of $64,749.42, per the terms of Buyboard contract #703-23.
Background
This quote is for a multi-year agreement with FarrWest Environmental Supply, Inc for the purchase of hazmat atmospheric monitoring equipment, identification equipment, and calibration equipment. FarrWest is to perform the calibration services and bear the responsibility and liability to ensure that all the equipment is calibrated in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations. The Hazmat Division of the Fire Marshal's Office receives the calibration records after every 90-day calibration and these records are maintained for the service life of the equipment. This program is to begin on October 1, 2023 and be current for no less than 12 months, with 3 renewal options. Funding Source is 460P. Point of contact is Adrienne Seal.
