Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on a First Amended and Restated Farm Lease between Williamson County, Texas, and Weldon Copeland and Kevin Copeland, jointly and severally, for the lease of 149 acres of land situated near the intersection of Landfill Road and FM 1660 in Hutto, Williamson County, Texas for purposes of farming.

The County and tenants, Weldon Copeland and Kevin Copeland, executed the original Farm Lease, being dated effective January 9, 2024, for 124 acres of land near the Williamson County Landfill.  Following the execution of the original Farm Lease, the County's landfill operator notified the County and the tenants that an additional 25 acres of land adjacent to the original 124 acres of land would not be used for landfill purposes and that it would be beneficial for it to be farmed in order to maintain the vegetation on such acreage.  The porposed First Amended and Restated Farm Lease would add the additional 25 acres of land to the lease making the total leased premises 149 acres.
