Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding Change Order No. 8 in the amount of $23,099.72 for Project 1810-265 North Mays Extension (Capital Excavation) P: 224 Funding Source: Road Bond.

This Change Order provides the final balancing for the overrun of Contract quantities on the project as a result of addressing field conditions not accounted for in the original plans. This Change Order includes the balancing of Force Account items for the installation of Oncor illumination poles, wire and conduit south of the bridge. This Change Order also adds an item for the miscellaneous riprap work that was completed at the request of the City of Round Rock. Please see attached Change Order for additional details.

This Change Order results in an increase of $23,099.72 to the Contract amount, for an adjusted Contract total of $11,774,080.40. The original Contract amount was $10,775,835.75. As a result of this and all other Change Orders, $998,244.65 has been added to the Contract, resulting in an 9.26% net increase in the Contract cost. No additional days will be added to or deducted from the Contract as a result of this Change Order.
