Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding Change Order No. 14 in the amount of $101,248.22 for Project 22IFB139 FM3349 at US79 (James Construction) P: 332 Funding Source: Road Bond.
Background
This Change Order provides compensation to the Contractor for relocating Box Culvert No. 4 on the southbound frontage road, to accommodate the location of the new City of Hutto street (Spine Road). The culvert and the crossover to FM3349 were moved approximately 36 feet to the north to align with the centerline of the Spine Road. Please see the attached Change Order for additional details.
This Change Order results in a net increase of $101,248.22 to the Contract amount, for an adjusted Contract total of $84,003,793.32. The original Contract amount was $81,941,038.13. As a result of this and all Change Orders to-date, $2,062,755.19 has been added to the Contract, resulting in an 2.52% net increase in the Contract cost. No additional days will be added to or deducted from the Contract as a result of this Change Order.
