Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $29,260.00 for Project 24IFB15 Liberty Hill Bypass (Chasco Constructors) P: 346 Funding Source: Road Bond.
Background
This Change Order compensates the Contractor for lowering and encasing existing water service lines to the Williamson County Adult Probation Center and Parcel 41. The service lines will be lowered and encased 2 and ½ feet below finish grade of the ditches. This will allow for water service to be maintained across the proposed roadway, allows the lines to be removed if needed for any repairs and will not compromise the roadway structure if they do need future repairs. Please see the attached Change Order for additional details.
This Change Order results in a net increase of $29,260.00 to the Contract amount, for an adjusted Contract total of $14,178,709.00. The original Contract amount was $14,149,449.00. As a result of this and all Change Orders to-date, $29,260.00 has been added to the Contract, resulting in an .21% net increase in the Contract cost. No additional days will be added to or deducted from the Contract as a result of this Change Order.
