Proposed changes are outlined below:
Original Allocations and Project Descriptions FY2020:
Granger Housing Authority/Install Central Air CV Funds: $157,000
Tieback: Rehabilitation of buildings and improvements (including interim assistance). Rehabilitate a commercial building or public facility such as a school building to improve indoor air quality and ventilation to improve public health and prevent spread of coronavirus by replacing the HVAC and other building systems or to add operable windows and other improvements that could ensure the building’s continued usefulness during an outbreak.
Habitat for Humanity/Land Acquisition to build affordable housing CV Funds: $636,000
Tieback: Acquisition of property for housing. Respond to residential over-crowding associated with coronavirus spread and with more severe coronavirus disease and poorer post-COVID health outcomes by acquiring property for new construction of affordable housing funded from another source.
Program Administration CV Funds: $50,010

Acquisition, construction, reconstruction or installation of public works, facilities and site or other improvements. Construct a public improvement, such as extending broadband infrastructure in an underserved area or reconstructing degraded water lines, to support tele-school and telemedicine and to ensure potable water to homes, schools, and health providers.

Program will provide pre and post purchase counseling and homebuyer assistance to income qualified individuals and families.
Funding for FY16: $100,000
Funding Utilized: $75,000 assisting 3 low-income households

Provide rental assistance to low income households.
Funding for FY16: $25,000
