Discuss, consider and take appropriate action regarding the engagement of the law firm of Bickerstaff Heath Delgado Acosta LLP to represent County Court at Law Judge, Hon. Brandy Hallford, and other County Defendants, as directed, in the matter of Williams v. Pernell, et al., No. 23-2582-C480 in the 480th Judicial District Court of Williamson County, Texas, or associated proceedings; and exemption of these services from the competitive bid/proposal requirements of the County Purchasing Act pursuant to the discretionary exemption for personal or professional services, as set forth under Tex. Loc. Gov’t Code § 262.024(a)(4).
