Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving the two (2) year Agreement #2024205 between Guardian Alliance Technologies, Inc. and Williamson County for employment related background investigation as needed, with a not-to-exceed amount of Forty-Eight Thousand Dollars ($48,000) and an estimated cost per year of Twenty-Four Thousand Dollars ($24,000), and authorizing execution of the agreement.

Background

Approval of this item will support the operations of the Williamson County Sheriff's Office.  The Guardian Platform is a cloud-based software platform for use by law enforcement agencies in performing employment related background investigations.  Services are used on an as needed basis to include investigations, social media screening and credit reports.  The estimated cost per year is Twenty-Four Thousand Dollars ($24,000). The not-to-exceed amount under this Agreement shall be Forty-Eight Thousand Dollars ($48,000).  Competetive quotes were obtained for this purchase.  Funding source is 01.0100.0560.004210 as per FY24 budget. Guardian Platform is publicly traded, therefore Form 1295 is not required. Department point of contact is Chief James Carmona.
