Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on acceptance of a Texas Veterans Commission - Fund for Veterans' Assistance grant award in the amount of $210,000 for support of the Williamson County Veterans Treatment Court program.
Background
The Texas Veterans Commission grant supports the Williamson County Veterans Treatment Court and provides compliance and assessment software, monitoring for public safety, and a portion of salaries for the Court Coordinator, Probation Officer and Case Manager. The grant period is from July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025. The grant will serve 64 Williamson County veterans who have honorably served our nation in the military and meet the program criteria.
