Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on converting the operating expenses of a not-to-exceed amount of $10,000 for the DWI/Drug Court to the general fund when grant funding sources are no longer available, with future budget requests to go through the budget process for review and recommendation.
Background
On the June 27th, 2023 agenda (item #73), a request was made to convert two positions for the Veterans Treatment Court and the DWI/Drug Court to the general fund when grant funding sources were no longer available. This item was approved. This item is a request to also convert associated operating expenses when grant funding sources are no longer available in addition to the positions. A list of itemized operating expenses is attached.
