Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on authorizing the extension of contract #22IFB145, for the 2nd and final renewal of Limestone Rock Asphalt with a price increase per the attached documentation and spreadsheet, with Vulcan Construction Materials, LLC for the 12-month term of 11/15/2024 – 11/14/2025.
Background
This is the 2nd and final renewal of the Limestone Rock Asphalt contract, with a price increase, due to the increase of Building Materials by 2.85% from Nov 2022 to June 2024. That equals an approximate $3.29 increase in material. However, Vulcan Construction Materials, LLC is only requesting a $3 increase. The Road and Bridge Department has confirmed the vendor met all of the county requirements in this contract and requests renewal. The Funding Source: 01.0200.0210.003550. Department Point of Contact is Kelly Murphy. Contractor is publicly traded, therefore no Form 1295 required.
