Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving the Service Contract #2025186 between Williamson County and Cequel Communication, LLC d/b/a Optimum for Optical Internet Access service for the monthly amount of $750.00 and authorizing the execution of the service contract.

The approval of this Service Agreement will benefit the Williamson County IT department. Three quotes were obtained and Optimum was agreed to be the best value with the county already utilizing Optimum internet. This agreement is adding internet service to the Central Texas Treatment Center "CTTC" located at 601 North Alligator Street, Granger, Texas 76530. Optimum for Optical Internet Access is service with access at 1G and 1 Gb. Optimum is a more reliable and lightning-fast internet service at twice the speeds than the current internet service through ZochNet. With the monthly cost of $750.00, with a three-year contract. The funding source is 01.0100.0503.004210 for FY25.  Origination #2385.  The department's point of contact is Chris Ball.  The vendor is publicly traded.  Therefore, a 1295 form is not needed.
