Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action to authorize the extension of contract #23IFB89, Aggregates for Surface Treatment, FINAL renewal term #2, for the same terms and conditions as the first renewal with Vulcan Materials Construction LLC, for the 12-month term of 08/29/2025 – 08/28/2026.
Background
This is the second and FINAL renewal of the Aggregates Surface Treatments contract. The first renewal was approved by the Commissioner's Court on 08.06.2024 for the 12-month term of 08/29/2024 – 08/28/2025. The Road and Bridge Department has confirmed that the vendor met all the County requirements in this contract and requests renewal for the term of 08/29/2025 – 08/28/2026. The funding sources are 01.0200.0210.003556 and 01.0200.0210.003597. The department's point of contact is Kelly Murphy. The vendor is publicly traded, so no Form 1295 is required.
